Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art's
New Web Site to Be Launched  

The web site of the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art was finally updated after several months, thanks to the continued efforts of the staff at the Research Department. All news stories and information regarding the Tehran MoCA will be uploaded on this web site and will be accessible to users in a timely manner. Users can now access the following sections which have been launched.

News: This section aims at disseminating news and information on the events taking place in the Tehran MoCA. Developments in domestic and international visual arts arenas are of secondary importance here.

Exhibitions: Information on many of the past exhibitions can be found on the old web site of the Tehran MoCA. However, the entire exhibits of some such exhibitions are not included in the web site. The entire exhibits of exhibitions will be accessible henceforth.

Seminars: Title and time schedule of lectures will be displayed along with the text of the lectures.

Cinémathèque: All programs of the Cinémathèque are available for the audience prior to the beginning of the season.

About the Museum: This section offers general information on the building, history, as well as new pictures of the Tehran MoCA.

Newsgroup: Once this slot is active, all information about the Museum will be delivered to private email addresses and there will be no need to log on to the Tehran MoCA's web site.

Collection: For access to the collection of the Tehran MoCA, you need to look at the old web site at www.tehranmoca.com/old. Nearly 150 paintings and sculptures are on view and works of Iranian and western artists will be available once the new web site is launched. Works in other fields, including photography, New Art, installation, etc., will also be added to this section later. A short biography of each artist will also be available.
